Tilly Vee Frazier Sr.

Tilly Vee Frazier Sr., age 75, of Waverly Hall, Georgia passed away on Saturday October 6, 2018. Tilly was born September 3, 1943 in Columbus, Georgia to his late parents Leola Abalene Frazier and Thomas Robert Frazier. Tilly grew up in Columbus and attended Nankipooh Elementary School and Columbus Junior High School. He was a skilled carpenter and loved providing for his family. He taught them to work hard, be strong, and to stand up for what was right. “Paw” enjoyed watching his grandchildren and his dog Termite play. He was a giving person and would help anyone who needed it. Tilly has a saying, “If it wasn’t for today, it would be tomorrow because yesterday is gone.”

Other than his parents, Tilly was preceded in death by; son Richard LeRoy Frazier; three brothers LeRoy Frazier, Billy Frazier, and Robert Frazier; and three sisters Barbara Ann Frazier, Burnice Frazier and Betty Frazier. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Martha Frazier; sons Tilly (Lisa) Frazier, David Frazier, Don Earl Hall, and Randy Hall; daughters Margaret Carter; and Becky Frazier; grandchildren Tilly Frazier, Jennifer Frazier, Steven Hunt, Samantha Hunt, Heather Frazier, and Chance Frazier; great grandchildren Cheyenne Hardee, Leigha Frazier, Lane Frazier, Elleigh Archer, Harper Hunt, Cannon Frazier and Levi Hunt; nieces, nephews, other family members, his dog Termite, and many friends.

A visitation for family and friends for Tilly will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907. A Celebration of Tilly's Life will occur Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907, in Edgewood Hall, followed by a committal service at Parkhill Cemetery 4160 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA, with Reverend Glen Presley officiating.
