Tim grew up in Columbus, Georgia where he worked for TSYS as a Senior Programer Analyst for 27 years. He loved all sports, but most of all he loved triathlons, volleyball, and softball. Tim was an exceptionally talented softball player. He was a Christian and was saved by the age of 10. Tim had a Big Heart and Loved the Lord, His Family, and Adored his son Asa. They were Inseparable. Tim would spend every moment he could with Asa. Tim also had an Incredible, Close group of lifelong friends who were Always there for each other.
Timothy is survived by his son, Asa Hilton Smith, brother, Gene Smith, Jr, and many cousins, aunts, and uncle's.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM March 1st, 2025 at Wynnbrook Baptist Church, 500 River Knoll Way, Columbus, GA 31904.
