Vina Catherine Huff

Vina Huff, age 62, resident of Columbus, died on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at her residence. Memorial services are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, 6 p.m. with Rev. Roy White officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service until 8 p.m. Mrs. Huff, daughter of the late Dewey Mort and Julia Hazel Forbeck Mort, was born October 6, 1949 in Cumberland, MD. She was a homemaker and member of Edgewood United Methodist Church. Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Mort and two brothers, James Mort and William Goetz. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Lee Huff of Columbus; one daughter, Beverly Casebolt and her husband Barry of Richmond, KY; two sons, Donald Huff of Chesapeake, VA and Michael Huff of Columbus; one sister, Rosemary Smith and her husband Samuel of Flintstone, MD; one granddaughter, Kayla Halpin of Richmond, KY; other relatives and friends.
