Family will visit with friends on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 4071 Macon Rd, Columbus, Georgia. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM in Parkkhill Cemetery.
Vivian Grace Allen Thomaston Cook was born on November 20, 1925 to the late Mrs. and Mr. Henry Allen. She was retired from Tom’s Foods.
Mrs. Vivian enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she was a great cook and was well known for her chocolate cakes at family gatherings. She was Baptist by faith. Mrs. Vivian will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her son David Thomaston; her daughter Pamela Kay Ivey; her two husbands: Paul Thomaston and Gerald Cook.
She is survived by her grandsons: David Thomaston (Deborah) and Douglas Thomaston (Robin); great granddaughter: Emily Grace Thomaston; stepdaughter: Sharron Hopkins (Wayne); stepson: Gerald Cook, Jr.; son-in-law: Louie Champion; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
