Warren Michael Hagler

Funeral memorial services will be held Saturday, January 31st, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Edgewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road with Dr. James C. Elder, Jr. officiating.

Mr. Hagler was born October 1st, 1940 in Phenix City, AL. the son of the late John Ellis and Doris Argen Bullard Hagler. He was preceded in death by his step mother, Miriam Tinley Hagler and his step father, Frank Bedsole. Mr. Hagler was a lifelong resident of Columbus, Phenix City area and was the former owner/operator of the Wynnton Boot and Shoe Store on Wynnton Road in Columbus. Mr. Hagler was a member of Evangel Temple and also attended the First Baptist Church of Columbus.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimbel Lynn Hagler Plottel and her husband, Sam of Ringgold ,Ga., a son, Warren Michael Hagler, Jr. and his wife ,Julie of Powell, Ohio; three grandsons: Daniel Plottel, Jacob Plottel, Garrison Hagler and a granddaughter , Shelby Hagler. He is also survived by his sister, Dr. Wanda Person and her husband, Rick of Midland, Ga.
