Wesley H. Crews March 1, 1932 - June 1, 2010 COLUMBUS, GA— Wesley H. Crews, 78, of Columbus died Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2010 at Striffler Ð Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel, 4071 Macon Road, Columbus with Mr. Tommy Mayton and Rev. Ashley Randall officiating. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Crews was born March 1, 1932 in Parksville, KY the son of the late Marshall Crews and the late Phoebe Morgenson Crews. He lived in Columbus for the past fifty eight years. He retired from Consolidated Freight as a commercial truck driver with over forty plus years of service. Mr. Crews was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Clark Crews, eight brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his daughter, Becky Crews Fried and her husband, Allan of Marietta, GA; two granddaughters, Karli and Kelcie Fried of Marietta; brother & sister-in-law, Bobby and Callie Clark of Columbus; sister-in-law, Mary F.
