Wilbur D Brescia

Born on February 1, 1957, to Theodore Huff Brescia and Ona McDougal Brescia, Wilbur was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Hanson Brescia; his parents; his brother, Theo Brescia; his sister, Edna Brescia Gilmer; and his grandson, Christopher Stevens.

He is survived by his daughters, Anne Marie Brescia and Shannon Brescia Gullage; his sister, Jean Edwards, and her husband, Bill Edwards; his grandson, Jaxon Gullage; seven nieces and nephews; six great-nieces and great-nephews; and four great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Wilbur was an exceptional natural athlete. From an early age, he excelled in sports and developed a lifelong passion for competition. He became an avid golfer and proudly recorded numerous holes-in-one throughout the years. Baseball was especially close to his heart, and he played from the age of six through adulthood on various teams.

Through his love of sports, Wilbur formed many lasting friendships that remained important throughout his life. Among those friendships were his lifelong companions, Mark Russell and Bobby Murdock, whose bond with Wilbur endured to the very end.

Wilbur will be remembered for his love of family, his athletic spirit, his loyalty to his friends, and the many lives he touched throughout his years. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
