Mr. Dobbs was born January 1, 1939 in St. Clair County, AL, son of the late Rufus L. and Claudine P. Dobbs. He worked for many years with the Columbus Police Department, Park Ranger and most recently worked as a security guard with Ralston Towers. Mr. Dobbs was also a mason.
Survivors include his sister, Stella Bodilly and her husband, Jack Mashall of Cleveland, GA; daughter, Vicki L. McNabb of Columbus, GA; son Michael M. Dobbs and his wife, Rhonda of Midland, GA;step- daughter, Rae Bolin and her husband, Johnny of Columbus, GA; Niece, Patti Hanson and her husband, Tommy Bowen and their children, Micah and Kody Hanson of Cleveland, GA; five grandchildren, Brandon Macon, Jennifer Bolin, Gabe Bolin, Jody Holloway, and Jammie Holloway.
