William “Billy” Walter Harvey, age 66, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Tuesday November 5, 2019 in the loving care of Columbus Hospice. A Graveside Celebration of Billy's Life will be held Friday, November 8, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Parkhill Cemetery, 4162 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907.
Billy was born in Columbus GA to his late parents Sara Phillips Harvey and Robert E Harvey, Sr. November 10, 1952. He was a life- long resident in Columbus, graduated from Hardaway High School and Columbus State University. Before retiring, Billy was a Computer Programmer at Total Systems. He was a very private person who loved to ride his bike and work with his computers. He enjoyed watching old comedy shows and westerns on TV. He will always be remembered for his computer skills and his ability to learn new programs. Billy will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Besides his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his nephew, Robby Harvey. He is survived by; brother Robert E Harvey, Jr.; niece, Brandi (Patrick) Edwards; great nieces, Peyton Bryant, Haley Harvey, Cheyenne Harvey and Ashley Edwards; great nephews, Ryan Wilmer, Anthony (Sara) Edwards, Stephen Edwards and Devon Edwards; other family members and many friends to cherish his memory.
