Dearest Ken, Leslie and family, little David and I are extremely saddened at the sudden passing of David. We extend our deepest condolences to the family. Heartbreaking. Big David was one-of-a-kind. We grew into adulthood together and shared many good times and a few interesting times. We prided ourselves on witty banter exchange which, in most cases, ended up into big rounds of laughter. I am thankful that we have a wonderful son, his namesake, to carry on the Posey name. May his memory live on and be honored through his children. Love, Brenda and Little David

Probably the sweetest, kindest, grumpiest man I’ll ever meet. You were one of a kind, David. You were always so helpful and very special to me and my daughters and a very good man to my dear friend Debbie. You are forever in our hearts and are already missed terribly.

Until we all meet again ❤️

I met David through my mom’s lifelong friend, Debbie. He was someone who made me laugh every time he was around. Any time that I heard he would be at an event, I would immediately look forward to going because I knew he would make it fun just by being there! He also helped my mom a lot when we moved by helping her fix things around the house and put things together, all while never asking for anything in return. He did it all out of the goodness of his heart. When I heard of his passing, it made me so sad because he was so full of life, so kind, and such a giving person. I will miss him so much and I wish I could’ve known him longer. I will forever keep his memory in my heart and will never forget his kind nature & his contagious smile ❤️

I met David through my moms best friend, Debbie. The two of them had been dating for the past year. David was someone that could always make me laugh. He was very kind & always willing to help people that needed it. Whenever something would break he’d be the first person to offer to fix it. I am grateful I had the chance to meet him, he will be missed!
