William Hoyt Raymond IV, originally from Columbus, Georgia, and a resident for several years in Round Rock, Texas, passed away at his home on May 15, 2021. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hoyt Raymond III, and was born on April 27, 1967 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. He attended Blanchard School, and graduated from Columbus High School.
William attended LaGrange College, where he was a Pi Kappa Phi, and went to work for Smith-Raymond Co. Inc. with his father. Will was survived by his loving family, his father, William Hoyt Raymond III; mother Anne Lynn Mosley Raymond; sister, Laurel Anne Raymond Peebles and her husband John Tucker Peebles; a niece, Laurel Lynn Peebles; a nephew, Raymond Tucker Peebles; his husband, Robert Judkins, also of Round Rock, Texas.
Due to being diagnosed at twenty with Type 1 Diabetes, and having had many surgeries and a failed pancreas/kidney, plus dialysis, he succumbed to the complications of this disease. While living in Texas, Will worked for Expi-Realtors. He loved taking many trips and was especially fond of cruises. He showed his family what bravery was, and he will be missed greatly by all of his family and friends. Due to Covid, a graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 for immediate family only, with Reverend Jimmy Elder officiating.
We all know he is in a better place, with freedom from pain.
