Lureine was born in Brown County, Indiana December 6, 1924, the daughter of Charles “Ray” and Edna Saffel Taylor. She married George Ackenback; he preceded her in death in 1996.
She was a member of Mill Race Center,The Kitchen Band and she loved to travel. For many years she was a medical assistant at the office of Dr's Ranck, Rau and Daugherty, retiring in 1987.
She is survived by sons, Maurice (Patricia) Haymaker and Max (Caroline) Haymaker both of Columbus; grandchildren, Melissa (Patrick) Roche, Lori Loverenz, Lindsey Mundt, Nicholle Richey and Tony Fisher; 10 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Wilma Jean Taylor and Mary Fields; bother, Max Taylor.
In keeping with Lureine’s wishes all services and burial at Garland Brook Cemetery will be private.
