Barbara Ellen Shumaker passed on April 29, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on August 13, 1929, in Franklin County, Indiana, Barbara lived in Columbus, Indiana.  

Visitation will be held at Myers - Reed Chapel, 3729 25th Street, Columbus, Indiana 47203, on May 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a graveside service at Garland Brook Cemetery, 501 N. Gladstone Avenue, Columbus, Indiana 47201, on May 5, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
