Bobbie was born May 5, 1951, to Bud and Euna Mae (Fish) Allman. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1969 and went on to spend more than 20 years serving as a dispatcher at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Bobbie had an incredible love for reading and a remarkable ability to finish a 300-page book in just a matter of hours, and remember what she had read. When she wasn't lost in a good book, she could often be found enjoying a game of Bingo, Euchre, or Yahtzee.
Above all, Bobbie loved her family. Time spent with those she loved, especially her grandchildren, brought her great happiness. She treasured being part of their lives and the memories they created together.
Survivors include her loving son, Michael (Karla Hart) DuLong of Elizabethtown; sister, Jerrie (Bill) Keck of Sebring, Florida; grandchildren, Cierra DuLong of Shelbyville, Austin DuLong of Indianapolis, Nathan Worland of Hope, Kara (Raygan) Roach of Loogootee, Emily (Nikolai Haak) Hart of Elizabethtown, and Sherby Austin (Kayla) Hart of Odon. Also surviving are several great-grandchildren; and her bonus kids, Alan, Kelly, and Kim.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Euna Mae Allman.
Private services were held to celebrate Bobbie Lee's life.
Those wishing to honor Bobbie's memory are invited to share a fond memory or message of condolence with her family at www.Hathaway-Myers.com.
