C. David Spiece

David was born in Columbus January 1, 1959, the son of Charles and Myrle Crawford Spiece. He married Julia A. Frazier March 26, 1977 at New Whiteland Christian Church.

He graduated from Franklin High School in 1977 and was lovingly referred to as Superman by his family and friends, loved NASCAR, hunting and anything outdoors. He especially loved watching his grandkids play sports and Siesta Key Beach in Florida. He was maintenance supervisor at Estep & Company’s Subway Shops. He was a former employee of Cox Construction and Columbus Component Group.

David is survived by his wife, Julia A. Spiece of Columbus; son, C.J. (Lauren) Spiece of Columbus, IN; daughter, Amy (Greg) Craft of Elizabethtown, IN; brother Ed Spiece of Fishers, IN; sisters, Charlotte Spiece of Indianapolis and Vicki McCoy of Nashville, IN; grandchildren, Tyler Settle, Ethan Spiece, Gregory and Alana Craft and Ellie Spiece.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rodger Spiece.

Funeral service Friday 11:00 a.m. Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Revs. Nelson Lee and Andy Kilps officiating. Calling 4~8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. to service time Friday. Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-reed.com.
