David was born on June 16, 1947 in Columbus, Indiana, the son of Hubert and Alverta Lange. As a young adult, he served in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. Following his Army service he returned to school for electronics and worked at Millers TV, which led him to his Career at Cummins. He was a devoted son to his parents, and never missed a day to visit with his father in the nursing home.
David was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and St. Peters Lutheran Church. He was very involved with both churches and found purpose in visiting with church members and attending Bible studies.
He found great joy in talking with others. He was a loyal friend and regularly called to check up on those close to him.
David is survived by his wife, Kathy Lange; his children, Jackie (Jason) Moore, Heidi (Sam) Straub, Tina M. Turner, and Gary L. Turner; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; his sister, Kathy Adams; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
