Delia Jean Rockhill, infant daughter of James Lee and Michele Vandercar Rockhill of Columbus, died at 4:33 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at Columbus Regional Hospital, shortly after her birth at 3:21 a.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday at White Creek Lutheran Church with Pastors Joshua Cook and Ben Haupt officiating. Calling will be at the church from 3:30 p.m. until service time Friday. Cremation is planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camp Lutherhaven, Camp Lakeview or March of Dimes.
Delia is survived by her parents; a sister, Eliza June Rockhill, at home; grandparents, Mike (Verna) Vandercar of Lafayette, Jeff (Kathy) Davies of Frankfort and Brian (Cheryl) Rockhill of West Point; great-grandparents, Verna Mae Elser of Hebron and Clyde J. Rockhill of Lafayette; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a sibling, Baby Rockhill.
