So many great childhood memories of hanging out with the Duke family. Between the Duke’s and McDowell’s, we had our own softball team at lions park. I hadn’t seen Dennie for a long time but he still looked the same jus with a few grey hair. RIP🙏🙏

This is sad news for anyone who knew Dennie. What an awesome childhood friend. We played a lot of ball together in little league and later in high school. Always easygoing and a great competitor. My condolences to his family and friends. Rest In Peace, my friend.

My favorite memories were always having a group of neighbors playing basketball 🏀 in our driveway. People don’t even know their neighbors today. Denny, Doug, David, and Duane seemed more like brothers than neighbors! We’ll Miss you Denny. God bless the Duke family❤️.

My heart just sank as I read this news. Dennie was a childhood friend, classmate and teammate. Rest in Peace, my friend. Although I haven't seen or talked to you in years, you will be missed.
