Obituary of Don Randall "Randy" Schnier
Don Randall “Randy” Schnier, 66, of Westport died 3:10 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2019, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Randy was born February 20, 1953 in Columbus, the son of Robert and Vonda Cathers Schnier. He married Sandy Cathey; she survives. He was the program coordinator at CERAland Park for 25 years. He was a member of NRA, CERAland Gun Club and CERAland Trap Shoot. He was an avid fisherman and loved sports. He is survived by his wife, Sandi S. Schnier of Westport; son, Chuck (Carol) Tetrick of Greensburg; daughter, Angie (Joe) Fivecoat of Westport; brother, Robert (Sharon) Schnier of Columbus; grandchildren Samantha and Kyle Tetrick of Greensburg, Tyler (Amanda) Michael of Rushville; step grandchildren; Joe Fivecoat of Milan, Courtney Rosfeld of Brookville and Alisha Palmerton of Batesville; 2 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hathaway~Myers Chapel on Pearl Street with Pastor John Marquis officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.hathaway-myers.com.
