E. Carol Moody

She was born in Columbus December 28, 1953 the daughter of W.L. and Violet Mae Brown England. She married Ronald D. Moody September 24, 1982 in Hope and he survives.

Carol was accounting coordinator at Columbus Regional Health. She had worked for the hospital for 36 years. She was a member of Burney Baptist Church, a member of the board and treasurer of BAR-CONS Federal Credit Union, member and treasurer of Indiana Volunteer Fireman’s Assoc. Auxiliary. She loved camping and was an avid Pacer fan. She was all about her grandchildren, attending all their games and activities.

Survivors include her husband of Greensburg; daughters, Cristina (Steve) Hankins of Greensburg, Diane (Brad) Ott of Greensburg and Dana (Jeff) Young of Greensburg; step-daughters, Stacy Moody of Columbus, Goldie Huddleston of North Vernon, Becky Haley of Westport and Teresa Moody of Seymour; brothers, Dale (Nita) England of Columbus, Joe (Linda) England of Elizabethtown; sisters, Jean (Larry) Huff of Hope, Joyce (Kenny) Stout of Freetown, Trish England of Hope; 19 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Jennifer Dawn Nading.

Funeral 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015, Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Rev. Rand Hooten officiating. Calling 4~8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to service. Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-reed.com.
