Edgar Riley Maudlin

Edgar Riley Maudlin, age 93, of Columbus, IN, died at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Maudlin was born in Greensburg, IN on October 23, 1926, the son of the late William R. and Annette L. Maudlin. He graduated from Greensburg High School in 1944.
He served in the Army Air Corp with the 314 Bomb Wing in the Pacific Theater in 1945 to 1946,
He married Maxine Stephens in Greensburg, IN on January 28, 1949 and she preceded him in death after 61 years of marriage.
Mr. Maudlin was employed at Coca Cola Bottling Company in Columbus, IN for 42 years. He was the Production Manager for most of his career there.
A private funeral service celebrating the life of Mr. Maudlin will be conducted at Hathaway~Myers Chapel on Pearl Street in Columbus, IN. Burial will follow in Garland Brook Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Surviving Mr. Maudlin are two sons, Jeffrey Alan (Roseann) Maudlin of Columbus and Anthony Todd Maudlin of Fullerton, CA; a brother, Donald W. Maudlin of Sanibel Is., FL; three granddaughters, Laura B. Freeman of Columbus, IN, Megan T. Maudlin of Columbus, IN and Tanya Y. Maudlin of Hacienda Heights, CA; a great granddaughter, Marley T. Ochs of Columbus, IN.
Along with his parents and wife, Mr. Maudlin was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard W. and Howard L. Maudlin; a sister, Mary Maudlin.
