So sorry to the family. I spent a great deal of time at the Nielsen household during my high school years with Kris. Rick was a good big brother to all of us. He will be missed and thoughts and prayer going out to all the family.

Eric was the Cubmaster when my Son Logan began his Scouting career as a Tiger Cub ..... Logan and I always enjoyed Eric’s upbeat and enthusiastic manner and his humor in his role as Cub master and Troop Leader ..... And I’m sure was a major factor in Logan’s decision to continue on in Scouting for 12 years and to seek the Eagle Scout Honor which in which he atained as a Centennial Eagle Scout in 2012 with 41 merit badges .... Eric was a huge influence on the lives of many young men from Bartholomew County ....And inspired me to become a Scout Leader which allowed me to spend some of the most enjoyable times of my life with my Son ....Thank you Eric for your contribution to America’s future ...... Chris Gill fellow Scouting leader , parent and friend........ Photo below of Logan at 2010 Centennial National Boy Scout Jamboree

Eric was such a nice man and very supportive of me and my family after Brenda's sister Beth died. He was patient, understanding and concerned for everyone, all the time! We shared a lot of laughs and a few tears, but no matter what Eric always made you feel better. Great guy who had a heart of gold!
I know he's at peace in heaven.
My condolences to Brenda and the family. You're in my prayers and I'll never forget Eric. Such a good man.
