Glenna was born December 10, 1941, in Columbus, Indiana, to Glenn and Martha (Goins) Russell. A lifelong member of the Columbus community, graduated from Columbus High School then went on to attend Indiana Business College after graduating, Glenna went to work at Dunlap as a receptionist for several years and then a medical receptionist for local Doctors offices. Through her work, she had the opportunity to meet and help many people, offering a friendly face and a welcoming presence to those she encountered.
Above all, Glenna cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was enriched by the people she held closest to her heart. Her lovely smile brought warmth to those around her and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. The love she shared with her family and the memories they created together will remain a lasting part of her legacy.

In addition to her parents, Glenna was preceded in death by her daughter, Kelly Brown; and half-brother, James Kirts and several aunts and uncles.
Glenna will be remembered with love by her family and all those whose lives she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, the memories of a life shared with those she loved will continue to bring comfort in the days ahead.
