I worked with Dr. Huey for many years as a nurse practitioner, I looked up to this man and MD, for his knowledge and integrity. He was a good mentor and friend. I worked for Dr Huey for several years, and he was my surgeon. He was a wonderful man. And will be missed. I recall talking to him in his office, and he’d always peek over his glasses. I often do it now, and makes me think of him! So sorry for your loss. Cherish your memories and say his name often.

There are memories too numerous to count of your family's support, and Gordon's enjoyment, of Columbus East Jazz Band performances. His pride and appreciation were always visible, at every single event.
I always appreciated seeing Gordon at each Everett Greene and trio concert at St. Bartholomew Church concert series. His knowledge and enjoyment of the music and his eagerness to share it was a pleasure to behold.
I am so very sorry for your loss, and hope you may find comfort and peace in your favorite memories.

Dr. Huey delivered both of our children, each birth having their own unique challenges. We are forever grateful for his amazing skill and the care he used in ensuring that everything turned out ok. Most of all, we are grateful for his kindness. Over the years, we would run into him at various places in the community and He never hesitated to engage in a catch up conversation. God Bless your family in this difficult time. We will pray for Peace and a lifetime of great memories for you all.

Dr. Huey delivered all four of our girls. He was the kindest most caring doctor. I will never forget how excited he was when our third was born with a headful of red hair! I will never forget him. We are so very sorry for your loss.
