Gregory Alan Mitchell

Greg was born in Anderson, Indiana on February 27, 1960. The son of Harry “Skip” and Marilyn “Sue” Richards Mitchell. He married Lea Ann Adam in Columbus, December 21, 1987.

He is survived by wife, Lea Ann Mitchell of Columbus; children, Cody James Mitchell and (Madison) Bailli Mitchell both of Columbus; parents, Harry “Skip” and Sue Mitchell of Anderson, Indiana; sister, Kim (Curt) Todd of Pendleton, Indiana; and his dog, Daisy. He was preceded in death by brother, Ron Mitchell.

He is a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Columbus and was a field technician for Regional Services. He was a Colts and I.U. fan and in high school he was active in athletics, loved arrowhead hunting, enjoyed fishing and any outdoor activity. He was a former Cub Scout Leader and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Bryan Busselburg officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street and from Noon to service time Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery Mineral Springs. Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
