Jane I. Patterson

Mrs. Jane Irene Jones Patterson, 93, of Columbus died Friday, March 9, 2018. Jane was born on February 15, 1925 in Waynesville, Indiana to Oliver Odis Jones and Sophrona Callum-Jones. She married Marshall Eugene Patterson on June 7, 1945 in Bartholomew County. She was a retired house-keeper of Nathan and Jerry Newsom of Newsom Industries. She was survived by her grandchildren Steven Wilson and Jordan Patterson and a sister, Iona Mae Henderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Elmira Annis, her husband, her daughter, Kim Sue Patterson and her son, William Eugene Patterson. The Funeral service will be held at 1 pm Friday, March 16, 2018 at Myers- Reed Chapel on 25th street with Richard Yeaton officiating. Burial will follow at Daughtery Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 am to service time at the funeral home the day of the service.
