Jason Richard Rudicel

Jason was born in Columbus April 16, 1982. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in Iraq.

He was an avid snowboarder and loved music.

He is survived by a daughter, Aurora Jane Ruth Hohstadt of Garberville, California; his mother, Teresa Petro of Columbus; his father, Larry R. Edmonds of Brazil, Indiana; a brother, Jeremy (Clara) Rudicel of Indianapolis; and a sister, Christina Allen of Oakland, California.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Betty and Bob Hill and Robert and Bernice Edmonds; and uncles, Rick Patton and Robert Edmonds Jr.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street. Inurnment, with military rites conducted by Bartholomew County Veterans Color Guard, will be at 11 am. Thursday at Garland Brook Cemetery.
