John William Hall

John was a member of the First Baptist Church, North Vernon. He was also a member of the North Vernon Mason Lodge #59 and the Rolling Hills Shrine Club, North Vernon. John also enjoyed fishing and the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds. He also loved to fix things and considered himself a handyman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, David, Ronnie, and Cecil Hall.

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Melaine Hall; his children, Mariah (Ray) Wilson of Columbus, Matthew Hall of Indianapolis, and John W. Hall, II of Greenville, AL; grandchildren, Emily and Nicholas Hall, Leah Wilson, and Enrique Wilson; and siblings, Daniel Hall, Elsie Taulbee, Doni Hall, Sharon Reinier, Ricky Hall, Frances Cash, Paul Hall, and Kevin Hall. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of John’s Life will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Myers-Reed Chapel, 3729 25th St., Columbus, IN 47203.

Memorials in John’s name are suggested to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
