Judith Deane Sullivan McKay

Mrs. McKay was born in Evansville, IN. on April 01, 1937 the daughter of the late James G. and Dorothy Deane McGraw Sullivan.

She married Jack R. McKay in Columbus, IN. on May 29, 1978 and he preceded her in death on March 09, 2004.

Mrs. McKay retired from Reliance Electric Company where she was a clerical worker.

A private memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Myers-Reed Chapel with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.

Inurnment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society.

Mrs. McKay enjoyed reading and working in her yard.

She cherished and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and she loved her friends and neighbors and valued each one for how they enriched her life as she hoped to enrich theirs.

Mrs. McKay is survived by her son, Douglas Brougher of Carmel, IN.; her daughter, Dana Heimlich of Columbus, IN.; her grandchildren, Dylan James (Sarah) Staggs of Mt. Vernon, IL., Ryan Chad Heimlich of Bloomington, IN. and Danielle Deane Heimlich of Columbus, IN.; her great grandchildren, Alexander Kane Staggs of Petersville, IN. and Cason James and Grace Olivia Staggs both of Mt. Vernon, IL.; and her brother, John Patrick (Marian) Sullivan of Freedom, IN.
