Judy Ann Miller

Judy was born January 8, 1965, in Franklin, IN, to Raymond J. and Helen E. Brothers. Although born in Indiana, she was raised in Johnstown, PA, where she spent her childhood years and developed her love of family, nature, and the simple joys of life.

Judy cherished spending time outdoors and could often be found enjoying the weather, fishing, or searching for mushrooms. She loved card games, cooking, playing bingo, trying her luck with the lottery, and caring for her beloved animals. Above all, Judy treasured being surrounded by her family and loved ones. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her granddaughter, Leeann Petro, whom she adored.

Survivors include her loving husband, Edgar Ray Miller; her children, Samantha Brothers and her boyfriend, James Lopp, Nathan Brothers, and Lisa (Travis) Petro; her cherished granddaughter, Leeann Petro; her sister, Helen Mateer; her stepdaughter, Jessica Miller; her aunts, Alma Ford and Patricia Miller; and her in-laws, Steve and Linda Henderson, Steve and Doris Fesse, and Janie Pittman. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and close family friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond J. and Helen E. Brothers; her brother, Raymond Jay Brothers; her uncle, Con Ford; and her in-laws, Jack Mateer, Wayne McGeorge, and Rodney and Norman Miller.

A funeral service for Judy will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Hathaway-Myers Chapel with Pastor Marcus Speer officiating. Burial will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Family and friends may gather for visitation on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Judy will be remembered for her love of family, her caring heart, and the happiness she found in life’s simple pleasures. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.

This isn’t goodbye, it’s I’ll see you in the afterlife. You will be truly missed and loved very much until we all meet again. Fly high in the sky with the angels and watch over us.
