Kenneth Dean "Kenny" Love

Born in Columbus, Kenny was the son of Harold and Mildred Maxine Garris Love. As a child growing up, Kenny attended the Jewell Village Wesley Chapel Evangelic Methodist Church and Columbus High School. He later served in the U. S. Army during the Viet Nam War. Kenny enjoyed working on cars as a hobby.

Kenny is survived by his children; Belinda (Jesus Garcia) Wooten, Fuquay-Varina, NC, Sonia (Greg) Love Hill, W. Lafayette, Melissa Love Jones and Eric Dean Love, both of Hope; sister, Linda (David) Moss and a brother, Roger Love, all of Columbus; several cousins, nieces and nephew. Kenny was preceded in death by his mother on 6-8-13, his father, 8-30-92 and his sister Deborah Darlene Love on 7-25-04.

A gathering of family and friends for Kenny will be Monday 1-19-15 from 4:00 until 7:00 p. m. with a Celebration of Life service at 7:00 p. m. in the Jewell Village Wesley Chapel Evangelic Methodist Church (6719 Baseliner.), led by Sarah Bartlett. In keeping with Kenny’s wishes, cremation is planned with a private inurnment in Garland Brook Cemetery at a later day. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the church.
