

Mr. Staley retired in 2009 after 41 years with Cummins Engine Company where he was a machine repairman. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Diesel Workers Union and enjoyed NASCAR, the Reds and the Colts, being outdoors and camping with his family, especially his grandchildren
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Born in Columbus Sept. 12, 1947, Mr. Staley was the son of Arthur and Dorothy Garris Staley.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Viles Staley; a daughter, Dawn Staley of Columbus; a son, Jason (Susan) Staley of Columbus; grandchildren, Kyra, Neil and Ryan Staley, all of Columbus; and a brother, Donald (Dorothy) Staley of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
