

Mrs. Jimenez was born June 3, 1968, in Corpus Christi, Texas, the daughter of Juanita Munguia Cantu of Indianapolis and the late Lorenzo R. Cantu.
She married Luis Jimenez January 24, 2004, in Indianapolis, and he survives.
Lucy was a certified nursing aide and had also worked in the kitchen at Texas Roadhouse in Indianapolis.
She enjoyed spending time with her children and family, cooking, reading and watching movies.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be conducted at noon Monday, August 24, 2015, at Hathaway-Myers Chapel, 1022 Pearl St., Columbus, IN 47201, with Bishop Charles A. Sims officiating.
Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at Hathaway-Myers Chapel and also from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 East Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, IN 46237.
Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery.

Surviving with her husband and mother are three children, Joseph, Johana and Jolene Jimenez, all at home; two brothers, Larry (Kristen) Cantu of Columbus and Eric V. Boxley of Indianapolis; a niece, Kamryn Cantu of Columbus; a nephew, Domonick Boxley of Indianapolis; her stepfather, Felix Megerle of Columbus; a stepbrother, Damon Megerle of Columbus; a stepsister, Angela Megerle of Columbus, Ohio; grandparents, Anastacio P. Cantu and Baldemar and Argentina Munguia, all of Corpus Christi, Texas; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Along with her father, Lucy was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ramona Cantu.
