

Margaret was born August 7, 1920, in Decatur County, Indiana, the daughter of William Morris Harry and Carrie Mae Tooley Harry. She was forever appreciative that she grew up on a farm, and with loving parents.
Margaret graduated from Jackson Township High School in 1938. She married Herman D. Terry on December 19, 1947, in Columbus, Indiana. He preceded her in death on August 10, 1995.
Having worked as a seamstress for Reliance Manufacturing Co., Roviar Sportswear, and Columbus Sportswear for over 35 years, she retired.
Following her industry retirement, she became the Nanny for the family of Don and Dawan Bush, caring for their youngest son, Derek. Margaret and her husband became life-long friends, and became part of the Bush family, sharing not only everyday joys and concerns, but also all of life’s special events such as anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, holidays, along with many other countless events.
Margaret was preceded in death by Don Bush and Derek Bush, and survived by Dawan Bush, Darren Bush, Devin, Nathan, Erin and Dean Bush.
Margaret was a long-time member of Waynesburg Christian Church. She loved being outdoors, working in her yard, gardening, growing roses, and visiting with neighbors and friends.
She was a lovely, endearing lady who enjoyed life. She will be greatly missed.
She is also survived by nephews, Frank (Charlotte) Jordan and Morris (Carolyn) Jordan, both of Columbus, Indiana; a sister-in-law, Mildred Terry, of Rockingham, North Carolina; several cousins, and many friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her sister, Louanna Niemoeller.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Myers-Reed Dignity Chapel on 25th Street, Columbus, with the David Burnett officiating. Calling will be from 11:00 am until service time. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery immediately following the service.
