Mark Heflin Rhoades

A graduate of Columbus High School, Mr. Rhoades attended Vincennes University and worked many years in retail.

He was baptized at First United Methodist Church and was a member of several fraternal organizations.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements were made by Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice of charities.

Born in Columbus, May 11, 1951, Mr. Rhoades was the son of James N. and Helen M. McCullough Rhoades.

He is survived by his mother, Helen M. Rhoades of Columbus; a brother, Jeffrey L. (Cynthia) Rhoades of Columbus; nieces, Claire Elizabeth McCullough Rhoades of Columbus and Jennifer (Todd) Clemens of Fishers; a nephew, Evan Rhoades of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a great-nephew, Carter Clemens of Fishers.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Brent Rhoades.
