She was born in Perry County, Indiana December 21, 1931, the daughter of Lawrence and Eleanor
(Nielander) Troesch. She married Robert Beier August 22, 1953 in St. Meinrad, Indiana; he preceded her in death August 2, 1990.
She was a former employee of CP Electronics and retired from Cummins Engine Company. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharist Minister. She loved gardening, traveling and her family.
She is survived by son, Gary (Pamela) Beier of Lee Summit, MO; daughters, Darlene (Gary) Crouch of Columbus and Susan (Jay) Dennis of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Sarah (Daniel) Onwiler of Lee Summit, MO, Christopher (Sara) Beier of Kansas City, MO, Erin (Steven Roudebush) Crouch of Westfield, Eric (Allison) Crouch of Bloomington, John (Jessica) Dennis of Tucson, Jacob (Clare) Dennis of Ridgecrest, CA; 6 great grandchildren; Godchildren, Ronald Beier, Steve Troesch, Charles and Ralph Beier, Tracy Tempel & Mark Harpenau; brothers, Walter & Victor (Mildred) Troesch of St Meinrad; sister Erma Harpenau of Tell City, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter at birth, Christine; her husband.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Clem Davis officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street and from 9:30 a.m. Saturday to service at the church. A Rosary service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-reed.com.
