Michael Lee Flinn, 70, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 12, 2025. Born on September 30, 1955, in Columbus, Indiana, Mike was a proud member of the first graduating class of Columbus North High School in 1973.
Mike found joy in life’s simple pleasures, fishing, tinkering, listening to music, cheering on NASCAR, and spending time at Patoka Lake. He will be remembered for his easygoing nature and his love for time well spent with family.
He was preceded in death by his wife and soulmate of 38 years, Johnetta Lee Flinn, as well as his parents, Mancil Lee and Lois Ann Flinn. He is survived by his son, Micah (Samantha) Flinn; his beloved grandson, Alexander Flinn; and his sisters, Michele (Tony) Christy and Kelli (Dan) Shuff.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place, with inurnment alongside his wife. Memorial contributions may be made in Mike’s memory to the Bartholomew County Humane Society.
