Born August 10, 1977, in Columbus, he was the son of Roger E. and Diane L. (Stitsworth) Hardin. Michael was a proud concrete finisher who genuinely loved his trade. Away from work, he enjoyed radio-controlled cars and aircraft, fishing, camping, and had a lifelong love for animals, especially those at home with him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Guss and Patricia Hardin, and Dale and Betty Stitsworth.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Draven Hardin of Columbus; fiancée, Ayrwen Repp of Columbus; stepchildren, Aiden, Tatum, Addalynn, Talin, and Astrid Watkins, all of Columbus; and his brother, Scott (T.J. Thie) Hardin of Columbus. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
