Mike and I met in the fall of 1969. He was one of the very nice guys. He was loved and respected by his students and faculty. He leaves me with some very wonderful memories and will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure to know Mike Hayes

Family of Mike Hayes has our deepest sympathies! We were so sorry we had to be gone during celebration of life. We will always remember Mike's hardy laughter & deep love & pride he had for his family. I remember seeing him years after daughter, Jill, whom I had had in math class at Northside had graduated & anytime I asked about her, his chest puffed up & anyone could see & hear his love & pride in her. Our prayers will be with you all.

Mike will always be remembered as our family reunion guy. He always had such a great time seeing everyone and was always very generous to open up his house each summer for us all to enjoy. I guess we will have the Mike Hayes memorial family reunions in his honor now. Love to Susie and all Mikes family.
