Following high school, she began her career at Storm Sash and worked there for several years. . Later, she went to work for the American Lung Association for 16 years, and Toyota Material Handling for 19 years before retiring in 2019. During her time at Toyota, Rebecca furthered her education at Indiana Wesleyan University. She graduated summa cum laude in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
Rebecca was exceptionally artistic and creative and it carried through all she did. She had a love for Dobermans and always had one in her life until her last one, Reba, died in 2019. She participated in several dog shows with her Dobermans and was also a breeder for many years. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, and was an avid enthusiast of American History.
Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Heather (Kevin) Minnemann; her father, Robert G. (Gladys) Clark; grandchildren, Clayton Hornback, Madisyn (T.J.) Wright; and Mariah (Dustin) Buckley; great-grandchildren, Avery Wright and Garrett Buckley; sister, Jackie Cecil; brother, Eric (Teresa) Clark; and her feline companion, Sampson, a Maine coon gifted to her by her daughter.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris M. Clark.
A memorial service for Rebecca will be held Saturday, March 19 at 4 p.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel with Pastor John Marquis officiating. Friends may gather for visitation two hours prior to the service from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Bartholomew County Humane Society or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
