Ronald D. Greenlee, 87, passed away January 12, 2019 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Ron was born on August 22, 1931 in Bartholomew County to Cecil and Wilma Greenlee. He married Mary Ann Cruzan on December 29, 1951. She Preceded him in death on June 11, 2016. He served as a Sargent in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from Cummins after 41 years. After retirement, Ron and Mary moved to Florida in 1990 where Ron picked up the art of painting and also enjoyed playing softball. While in Florida, he worked at Spruce Creek Retirement Village as a security guard for 20 years. Ron is survived by his daughters, Pam (Glenn) Meek of Columbus, Marsha (Bill) Henley of Indianapolis; son, Kevin (Sarah) Greenlee of Missouri; Grandchildren, Brent Huffman, Suzan (Brady) Lofton, Shawn (Cristina) Henley, Lindsey (Matt) Ross, Zack (Shauna) Henley, Nathan (Meghan) Greenlee, Rachel (Cameron) Farley, Nick Greenlee; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his siblings. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Myers- Reed Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery with Military Honors by the Bartholomew County Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
