Sally Ellen Petri

Sally Ellen Petri, 65, of Columbus died 3:45 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2014, at Kindred Transitional Care of Columbus. Sally was born in Columbus April 13, 1949 the daughter of Charles and Grace White Hathaway. She married Glenn L. Petri and he survives. She had a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and was former Director of the Bartholomew County Children’s Home. She was most recently a Check-out Supervisor at Sam’s Club. She was a member of Creepy Legends and Paranormal Investigations. She is survived by her husband Glenn of Columbus; daughter, Sara (Dave) Jones of Columbus; son, Nathan Petri of Columbus; brother, Dr. Walter (Cathy) Hathaway of Tallahassee, FL; grandson, Mason Jones of Columbus; nieces, Devin (Brad) Salter of St. Petersburg, FL and Beth (Justin) DeMarco of Yorktown, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents. In keeping with Sally’s wishes she will be cremated. A Celebration of her life will be held in early June.
