Aunt Sandy took me to my first concert, she took me drive-in movies, she taught me to play cards. I always enjoyed stopping by to visit with her before she moved to Indiana to be close to her son. I enjoyed our phone calls after she moved. I will miss her.

I have known Sandy since junior high. Bud is my uncle and so when they married she naturally became my aunt. She was a sweet, loving person who loved her family and her little ones. I cannot believe she is gone. My heart goes out to her children and Bud. The rest of her extended family (like me) will miss her too. My prayers and condolences to Bud because I know it will be difficult now for him. Of course I will be in prayer for her children also. God be with you all and bring you peace of mind and comfort in your hearts at this time. Love to all.

To all who loved and knew Sandy my heart and sympathy goes out to you all as my tears also fall. Those of us that knew her and loved her knew she was a loving and sweet lady. There are no words that can fill the space you left in this world. Sandy you will be missed greatly by so very many people who loved you and kept you close as a friend. But now I can see you flying around with your Angel wings and pain free. I'm sure you are watching over everyone now. May you R.I.P Sandy. Love Always & Forever...Dana Hewitt

I am a member of the Lee's Summit High School Class of 1965, as was Sandy. In fact, I went to Lee's Summit Elementary and Junior High with Sandy. So I have known her for many years. As life does, we all went our separate ways after high school. Through Facebook I was able to reconnect. I want to send condolences to her family and friends. I know she will be missed. Blessings to all of you.

I did not know Sandy for very long. While trying to find relatives from my dad's side, somehow I connected with Sandy, and found out she was my Cousin. Her mother was sister to my dad. So we started writing, keeping in touch. Then Sandy and Bud came to visit, and brought her little ones with them. It was great fun, like we always knew each other! My thoughts and prayers go to Bud and T.J., and the rest of her family.
