Sandy was born in Nashville, Tennessee February 19, 1944, the daughter of Charles W LeMay and Alice LeMay Truax. She married Larry Miller September 8, 1962 in Milan, Indiana.
She was a devoted homemaker and mother and a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Sandy was a quiet, loving, caring person and many people will miss her beautiful smile and her concern for other people. She has gone through many trials this past three years but she was a wonderful witness for Christ and showed just how tough a short, funny, loving, caring person can be. She made many new friends that fell in love with her instantly. They all helped her but she also helped them.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Miller of Columbus; children, Brenda (Bryan) Planalp of Columbus, Doug (Beth) Miller of Park Ridge, IL and David Miller of Columbus; sister, Carol Watson of Greenwood; 14 grandchildren. parents: Brenda and Bryan Planalp: Matthew, Stephen, Thomas, Nathanael (Rebekah), Lydia, Zachary, Abigail, Rebekah, Benjamin, Cora and Christopher. parent: David Miller: Luna Miller. parents: Doug and Beth Miller: Sam and Tessa
She was preceded in death by Alice LeMay Truax and step-father Jack Truax
Visitation is on Tuesday, February 15th from 4-6 pm at Myers-Reed Chapel, and again on Wednesday, February 16th from 10:30-11:00 am. The funeral service will be officiated by Kristi Jones at 11:00 am.
Masks will be required inside the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family or view the service at www.myers-reed.com.
