Sharon E. Fox

died Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at her home.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th

Street with the Rev. Mike Newlin officiating. Calling will be from 11

a.m. to service time Tuesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook

Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Sharon E. Fox Memorial Fund through the

funeral home.

A homemaker, Mrs. Fox was born Aug. 20, 1954, in North Vernon, the

daughter of William and Opal Wilson Lucas. She married Philip E. Fox

on April 5, 1984, in Brown County and he preceded her in death April

12, 2006.

Survivors include a son, Matthew (Cindy) Fox of North Judson; a

daughter, Pamela Fox of North Vernon; her mother, Opal Lucas of North

Vernon; stepsons, Ronald (Connie) Fox of Columbus and Kevin Fox of

Indianapolis; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Fox of North Vernon; brothers,

Roger (Sherry) Lucas and Bobby (Mary Sue) Lucas of North Vernon; a

sister, Shelia (Dave) Yux of North Vernon; grandchildren, Nicole

Moffett, Chelsey Kinworthy, Brandon Fox, Ashley Fox, Shayla Fox, Logan

Fox, Brianna Hutson and Dakota Hutson, all of Columbus, Nikkia Oakes

of Garrett, IN, Kevin Fox Jr., Rebecca Fox and Jerry Fields Jr., all

of Indianapolis; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; husband; a brother, Bill

Lucas; and a grandson, John Fields.
