She is survived by her brother, Jack Harlow of Bloomington, Indiana; children, Barry (Jeanne) of Glenview, Illinois, Kent (Pam) of Goodyear, Arizona, and Todd (Diane) of Naples, Florida. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
While in Columbus, she and LeRoy were active members of Asbury United Methodist Church. She taught for many years at Lillian Schmitt Elementary School and she served as President of Columbus Regional Hospital Volunteer Services after retirement. She was very important in the lives of her children and their children, including sound advice, gently, but firmly, delivered. She wrote and published her life story with copies for all of the family so that they could be in touch with their history and remember her fondly, as they all do.
A private graveside service will be held at Garland Brook Cemetery.
