Born on April 4, 1950, in Greensburg, Indiana, Susie was the daughter of Daniel and Lennie Hamilton, both of whom preceded her in death. She was a 1968 graduate of Jackson High School and enjoyed alumni planning for her high school reunions.
Susie attended Central Heights Church of god. She was a self-employed housekeeper for many years. She was an avid shopper and loved giving gifts and cooking for friends and family. She also enjoyed playing cards, knitting and sewing.
Survivors include daughter, Katrina Tovey of Columbus; son, Danny Tungate; grandchildren, Zoee Huckaby, Madux Tovey, and Brooklyn Tungate; sister, Clara (James) Denney of Columbus; brothers, Bob (Merrilyn) Hamilton of Westport, Indiana, and John (Roxanne) Hamilton of Scipio, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may gather for visitation on Wednesday, August 11 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel.
