Tammy Lyn Boxman

Tammy was born March 27, 1962, in Seymour, the daughter of Paul F. and Ruth A. Truex Boxman. She had graduated from Southwestern Central High School in ’84 and earned her Mechanical Engineering Degree at Valparaiso University.

She had been an employee of Cummins Engine Company for 31 years, serving as an Information Products Senior Architect Manager. Tammy was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Columbus and had participated in many volunteer activities through Cummins. She enjoyed riding bikes and computer work.

There will be a graveside service for Tammy on Wednesday, at 1 p.m. Feb. 3, 2016, in Garland Brook Cemetery with Pastor John W. Armstrong officiating. Calling will be Tuesday Feb. 2 at Myers‐Reed Chapel on 25th St. Memorials for Tammy may be directed to The American Cancer Society or Grace Lutheran Church.

Tammy is survived by her parents, Paul F. and Ruth A. Truex Boxman of Columbus; her brother, Ron (Patti) Boxman, Danville, California; her niece, Claire Boxman and her nephew, Chris Boxman, both of Danville, California; and her faithful friends, Annie and Zoe, Boston Terriers.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ernest E. and Ethel L. Eichelberry Truex; and her paternal grandparents, Elmer J. and Marie C. Webber Boxman.
