Terry L. “T.J.” Johnson, 68, of Columbus died 10:04 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2018, at his home.
T.J. was born in Columbus January 28, 1950, the son of William A. and Doris Smith Johnson. He married Debra L. Perry November 2007 in Brown County; she survives.
He worked for Cummins Engine Company 35 years retiring in 2003 as a Shop Steward. He was a member of Columbus Moose and Columbus Eagles. He loved all sports especially golf.
He is survived by his wife, Debra L. Johnson of Columbus; daughters, Shannon (Wayne) Noble of Columbus, Kelley (Bobby) Rice of Columbus and Tara Johnson of Columbus; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Trevor) Beckwith, Jarrett Noble, Rylee and Izabella Rice all of Columbus; great grandchildren, Maddisyn, Elijah and Brailen Beckwith all of Columbus; his beloved dog and best friend, Hank.
Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Pastor Dan DeFriece officiating. Visitation from 11:00 a.m. to service time Tuesday. Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-reed.com.
