Abel Matthew Harris

A funeral service for infant Abel Matthew Harris of Newark will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Abel was born in Columbus on October 29, 2011 to Kevin D. Harris and Monica K Campbell of Newark. He passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on December 30, 2011.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by siblings, Caleb Evans, Aidan Evans and Elizabeth Callander; maternal grandparents, Dr. Randall and Becky Van Voorhis of Chillicothe; paternal grandparents, Robert and Karen Harris of Grove City; maternal great grandparents, Carl and Betty Hollar of Newark, Ronald and Sandy Van Voorhis of Newark, and Louis and Mary Miller of Newark; paternal great grandparents, Robert and Betty Harris of Grove City; aunts, Amanda (Alan) Bates of Chillicothe, Aubrey (Brian) Angus of Newark, Erin Justice of Chillicothe, Olivia Friel of Chillicothe, Schenika Harris of Columbus and Halcinia Cornwell of Columbus; Uncle, Jordan Friel of Columbus; great great aunt and uncle, Bernard and Myrtle McCracken of Newark; and numerous cousins.

Friends may call at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM.
